Things to do to get the most out of your visitation time

It can be hard not to see your children all the time, and so it is natural to want to make the most out of your visitation time. You want to make their time with you memorable and fun, but that can sometimes be hard to do. All you have to do is be creative, innovative, and think outside the box. Find things that your children are passionate about, do things they enjoy. Think about things that you kid/kids could do or all do. Find things that everyone can enjoy. Even the simplest of things like watching a movie or going on a walk can help everyone get along and have a good time. 

One thing to remember is that to have the most amount of time with your kids you need to be efficient and coming and getting them from their other house, their travel needs to be effective to maximize time spent together. Communication with your ex-spouse needs to be clear and productive. 

Take them to fun places like the pool, the movie, playgrounds, amusement parks, lakes/ponds, or a variety of other places. Go out and make memories. If you do not want to leave the house then do not worry there are a lot of other activities to do at home. Cook a nice meal and enjoy being in one another’s company. Or get out some board games and laugh and joke with each other. Find crafts to make or other DIY projects. Have deep conversations and get to really know your kids.
