Starting new Halloween traditions
Spooky season is finally here and there are so many fun activities that you and your family can do. This time of year can also be sad as you remember all of the good times you had in the past before your Provo Divorce Attorney aided divorce. It can be hard to want to do these things when you think all this will do is dredge up these old feelings of sadness and reminiscences of your previous happiness, but it does not have to be this way. Instead of dwelling on the past you can get out there and make some new fun memories.
If you are trying to get back into the dating game, doing something scary or festive like going to a haunted house or a corn maze is a great way to embrace the season. These activities are a great date option as there is time to talk and get to know each other while still doing an activity. If it is scary, that is also a great excuse to hold their hand and huddle together.
It does not have to be a date either. You could take your children to a corn maze and start a new family tradition. After a divorce kids can have a hard time adjusting to the ways their lives have changed. Making these new traditions can give them new things to look forward to, and you can bond with them.
Another festive activity you could do is make a haunted house gingerbread house. This is a newer trend that takes something traditionally done at Christmas and puts a spooky twist on it. Because it is a haunted house you can make it as messy and crazy as you want, so there is no pressure to make it look perfect. Your kids will love haphazardly putting frosting and candy all over their creation.
